Book re French Dance tunes ?

Postby halfies » Fri Mar 25, 2011 3:22 pm

Can anyone help please ?

We are looking for a copy of the book:

'80 Airs a danser du Centre France'

None of the usual sources seem of any use.

Cheers

Hallo Rob and Marj',

After having checked my usual "sources" I have managed to find a music shop in France who have copies of "80 Airs a danser du Centre France" :D !

Here's the link to Arpege:

http://www.arpeges.fr/editions-musicale ... 10525.html

You'll have to sign-up and I'm not sure how much P&P will be - might be worthwhile seeing if there's anything else you'd like to buy on their website.

And here are a couple of sites that I've ordered CDs from who also have books of "dots", too:

Mustradem: http://www.mustradem.com/

Auvergne Diffusion: http://auvergnediffusion.fr/

Cheers!

Bridget you really are a Star, thankyou so much. So often you come up with the answers ...... must be worth a drink (or two) for you at Youlgrave.

We successfully (we think !) ordered the book from your source after a bit of puzzling over registration re our non-French language. Very interesting website and we looked openmouthed at their Gurdies, ..... beautiful, if pricey.

All best, from Rob and Marj'

Hi Rob/Marj - just seen your post (in HK at moment) and perhaps you don't want to know this, but I've got this book and you could have borrowed it..............!

See you soon

Darn it Mike, we never thought of the obvious .................. that you might have a copy.

Ah well, thanks for the thought anyway. Hope you are enjoying HK.

Yes, see you soon.
