York Minster

Not quite an instrument review, as I couldn't get near enough, but I couldn't find a better place for it.

I spotted the attached angels above the quire screen in York Minster.

Any idea how old the carving is? Is it a relatively recent carving or does it date back to when York Minster was built (1220-1470)?

@Paul, Sorry, no idea when this carving was produced, but is not a very early gurdy by the look of it. More of a 16th century form by the look of it. I certainly don't remember looking at it and thinking that it was recent.

I was in York Minster a couple of weks ago and remembered this thread, I looked for it but couldn't find it.
I didn't remember you mentioning its place at the quire scene, but if that is the one with the seven first Norman kings I think that is from the early 15th century.
