Hi there

Pete & Fi - just jioned the forum. We are based in South Cumbria and we have just had a fantastic time at the Gurdy Fest in Derbyshire. I made our Gurdy at Fi's request and finished it at Easter - 3 years (on and off). I make various other instrumants as a hobby. Well done all involved in the festival - even though we had to travel further than to Lancaster, we thought the venue was better.

Hi there pete

Welcome to the forum - what kind of other instruments do you make? Any advice for a novice?
I've just finished an Appalachian Dulcimer - see the off topic board for more.

Thanks,
Barnaby
