Hello from Gerald

Postby Gerald » Fri Apr 10, 2009 5:43 pm

Hello I'm Gerald and I live near Cambridge (UK).

I used to sing and play guitar in pubs and folk clubs but had a thirty year or so layoff from making music - apart from playing handbells for the past ten years or so.

After a couple of years tinkering with a home-made (not by me) hg I now have a Chris Allen gurdy. I am now struggling to get my playing good enough to justify such an instrument.

Unfortunately I have a blind spot when it comes to reading music but I think things are improving as long as I stick to simple time signatures.
