Ebay gurdy scam

OK - have a look at this:
http://annonces.ebay.fr/viewad/vielle-a ... 5013211886

It's on Ebay France under the small ads section. So, I thought this looks like a goodie and emailed this Jessica Tyre. After a few emails it became pretty clear this was a scam and I am reporting it to Ebay. She didn't give much info about the gurdy and without telling me what the postage costs would be told me to send 550 euros via Western Union (!) to an address in Italy. Then she said she'd post the gurdy and if I was satisfied to send the balance (which actually hadn't been established).
Of course by now alarm bells were ringing and also a feeling of déjà vu. This gurdy has been on the auction site of Ebay France twicw - and with the same listing number, in March 2009 and April 2010. See these postings:

So, if anybody else is in correspondence with this so called Jessica Tyre - beware!

Oh yes, another thing - when I said I wasn't happy using Western Union and asked for Bank details etc as well as more photos, it's all gone very quiet!
If anyone wants to see the correspondence email me and I'll send it on.

Ebay France have now removed the ad, so you can't see what it was.

It was a Pajot Jeune 1883, that was restored by the current Maison Pajot (Boudet) in 1989. The ad said it was in good nick apart from the wheel which needed truing.

So, if it comes up again at a silly price....................
