Pajot Jeune on ebay France - but not a gurdy!

Although this isn't a gurdy but a diatonique accordion, I thought I'd post it anyway as it's from the workshop of Pajot Jeune (Allier Jenzat): ... Accordeons

I thought it was interesting that they not only made hurdy gurdies but also accordions around 1900.

Fascinating to see such a really old and very much used Box. Bet you could scrape the Gauloises / Gitanes deposits from the reeds with a shovel. If only it could relate tales from it's history.
Doesn't seem to say if it's a typically French G/C with what looks like 20 buttons, but I daresay it is and plays French traditional dance tunes almost by itself I expect.

Did not ever associate Pajot with Boxes .............. live and learn eh.

Not an easy restoration project methinks but a lovely thing just to have.
