Do we see 'frets' alongside/under the Mouche and Trompette ?

How intriguing, .......new to us if not to other Gurdy Forum fans. Can anyone tell us more please ?

Looks a lovely instrument but at that price it certainly should be. Wish we had more Italian language (and Euros !).

'best

I've never seen it on a gurdy before, but that looks like my idea (and the one sold by lark in the morning) of a Dulci-Gurdy - a dulcimer that, instead of bowing or strumming, is 'wheeled' by the wheel. I didn't make it because fretting would alter the pressure on the wheel... but they've put the string on the side!

I may try building one sometime...
Thanks,
Barnaby
