The tune I was teaching in the beginners workshop on Friday was called Blowzabella, here are some links to a video, dots and midi files. I did simplify it slightly, and used an open string in place of the high G.

Neil has a very good page here: http://www.hurdy-gurdy.org.uk/hurdy%20gurdy%20tips.html which includes a video demonstration of cottoning, he also sells some excellent DVD's.

Scott Gayman has a great set of videos on youtube showing trompette technique here is the first one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPWVnkZADwE
