Gurdy Stands

Does anyone use a Gurdy Stand ?
Without one it could be pretty tricky in the Pub (especially with a wobbly Luteback) ?
Does anyone make a suitable Stand or is adaptation of something else the best answer ? Any ideas to save re-inventing the wheel would help a lot ?

Thanks Mike, amazing value for a good looking stand. Lutebacks have fat bottoms (!!) though as you know, so we might wait to try one for size also fit around the neck (poor girl).

Hi again Mike,

Yesterday we took our Gurdy to the local Guitar and Drum shop and asked to see Gig Stands 'for a trial fit'. They were dead intrigued by the Gurdy !

In short order we chose one that seemed the obvious choice, absolutely the business, perfect. Paid our £12 and triumphantly took it home.

Checking just now on here out of curiosity I found it was identical to the one you recommended as shown on the link in your posting above ! (just more expensive, but then no delivery charge in addition either). Terrific value though, (Chinese manufacture) and a brilliant fit.
