This year's KlangRauschTreffen will be taking place from Friday 11th til Sunday 13th June 2010 in Hoesseringen (near Uelzen, Lower Saxony, northern Germany).
Details (partially in English but mainly in German) under:http://www.klangrauschtreffen.de/krt_info10.html
I was at this small "festival" (Klangrausch roughly translated means sound intoxication) for the first time last year and really enjoyed myself. It's set in an open-air museum of historic houses and buildings, has a great atmosphere and there are some fantastic musicians there. Last year there were two hurdy gurdy makers there (Sebastian Hilsmann and Simon Walters). Open workshops (instrumental, dance) are included in the price of the festival ticket.
There is no catering set up but they do sell bottles of mineral water, beer and wine at the entrance and in the evenings in the "dance hall". I can highly recommend it.
